A trestle, two props, three planks, a couple of thrift store costumes, but especially, a dozen stage actors who know each other intimately, and who live and breath their lines, and what lines ! Three important stages in Molière's artistic trajectory that the actors from the theater company, « La Nuit surprise par le Jour », tackle with vigor. First of all, the mocking prose of « les Précieuses », then the rigorous Alexandrines of "Tartuffe", and finally, the musical and verbal fireworks, acted-sung-danced, from « La Malade imaginaire ». A new fable is created before the audience, the fable of a troupe of stage actors who reinvent themselves and evolve in and through Molière's theater. A stage festival that has met resounding success while on tour, a marathon of fantasy, commitment and gushing generosity, that can be seen over three evenings, or all at once. The theater as a festive event, the art of apparitions, proclaims, loud and clear, its vocation to unveil appearances, as it denounces snobbery, and runs hypocrisy and pretentiousness through the irrefutable ringer of ridicule.
