Details
The renovation of the theatre (2003-2006) made it possible to modify the scene-room ratio. Hitherto the scene of the theatre had a slope of 4%, like that of the Comédie-Française, which improved the perspective for the spectator. The orchestra had also a light slope (reversed).

For the needs of contemporary scenography, and to simplify the reception of the spectacles from other theatres, it was decided to put the scene at horizontal (and on the level of the street, to facilitate the entry of the scenery). On the other hand, the slope of the floor was clearly amplified.

During the restoration, the central alley of the orchestra was removed, the space between the seats widened. All the armchairs were remade with the identical one.
