Foyer
After the fire of 1799, Chalgrin (the architect of the Triumphal arch) charged by Napoleon of the rebuilding, entirely remakes the decoration of the Foyer, where he introduces colonnades in false yellow marble, opens a rotunda where he places caryatids of stucco and manages to put a chimney "return of Egypt", flanked of two sphinges.
